People with diabetes get hypoglycemia or “low blood sugar” when their bodies don't have enough sugar to be used as a reserve. It happens when your blood sugar levels are 70 mg / dl or less.
Reasons behind having hypoglycemia:
There are many reasons behind having hypoglycemia (include photos)
Excessive insulin or oral meds intake
Improper timing of insulin injections
Inadequate food intake
Delay in having daily snacks
Increased exercise intensity or duration
Symptoms of hypoglycemia:
Severe Headache
Fatigue
Shakiness
Sweating
Rapid heartbeat
Dizziness

Solutions for hypoglycemia:
First, try to ingest 15 g of carbohydrate or glucose tablet
Then, Self-monitor your blood glucose levels after 15 min
If hypoglycemia continued, re- ingest 15 g of carbohydrate
Recheck your levels after 15 mins as well
After that, you MUST consume a meal or small snacks and never starve yourself.
Examples of food that contains 15 g of CHO:
½ cup of water with 1 tbs of sugar or honey
½ cup orange or apple juice
½ cup of soda
1 cup of fat free milk
3 small candies
